Rothman Orthopaedic Specialty Hospital affirms our patients’ rights to choose whom they want to visit and provide support while in the hospital. Visitors of choice may include spouses, domestic partners (including same-sex domestic partners), family members, friends, or other individuals regardless of category of acquaintance. Patients have the right to restrict or withdraw their consent for an individual to visit.
Our visitor policy continues to adapt and update as we evaluate current recommendations and balance them by providing our patients with the ability to have family and friends at their side. ROSH encourages limiting the number of visitors to no more than two (2) per patient during your inpatient stay. Children under the age of 13 must always be accompanied by an adult. Visiting hours are from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Visitors must check in with security and always display their visitor badge. Visitors are not allowed in our Pre-op or PACU areas.
Visitors are reminded to wash their hands before and after patient contact, using the restroom, and handling food. Those with cold symptoms or gastrointestinal flu symptoms are encouraged to stay home. Please wear an approved mask at all times that covers your nose and mouth (no gaiters or cloth masks).
To protect the health and well-being of our patients, visitors, and employees, ROSH is a smoke-free campus. There is no smoking in our building, or within 100 feet of our doors.
There are times, when clinically necessary, a reasonable restriction on visitation may be required such as a patient’s need for rest or privacy, disruptive behavior or potential infection risk. Visitors are reminded to be respectful of other patients by refraining from loud conversations and being mindful of children.
